Meet the Admissions Staff

Courtney Kelly, Executive Director of Admissions

Courtney Kelly

chkelly@widener.edu

I joined the undergraduate admissions team at Widener University in September 2005, bringing with me five years of prior professional admissions experience. Every day, I am fortunate to witness Widener student success as a result of the University’s commitment to students. The combination of personal attention, academic excellence, and experiential learning transforms students and leads to remarkable outcomes.

In my role as an admissions professional, I enjoy counseling prospective students through the college search process and helping them to determine if Widener University will be a place where they can be a successful college student.

I attended Widener as an undergraduate student, and enjoyed it so much that I began working in the Admissions Office after graduation. Years later, I'm still here because of the friendly atmosphere at Widener and that close-knit community feel that is so great to find in a university. It's a small school with all of the opportunities of a larger one. In 2009, I graduated from Widener again by earning my master's degree in educational counseling.
