My Time and Experience with Widener

Twenty some years later, I am back at my alma mater sharing with prospective students how the university will help shape their future as it did for me. I hope to meet you at some corner of the world to talk about all the great things that Widener has to offer.

My Time and Experience with Widener
I joined the undergraduate admissions team at Widener University in September 2005, bringing with me five years of prior professional admissions experience. Having graduated from a small undergraduate institution, I recognize the benefits of being "a name, not a number." I strongly believe that Widener's personal approach to education is one where a student will thrive both in and out of the classroom.

In my role as an admissions professional, I enjoy counseling prospective students through the college search process and helping them to determine if Widener University will be a place where they can be a successful college student.

My Time and Experience with Widener

I joined the Widener team in the summer of 2005. My past experience in both higher education and private business provides me with an open perspective that I apply to the Widener Admissions process.

Having the opportunity to work with our Presidential Service Corps members and other groups around campus keeps me informed about the latest interests and trends of today's college student.

Time and Experience with Widener
I attended Widener as an undergraduate student, and enjoyed it so much that I began working in the Admissions Office after graduation. Years later, I'm still here because of the friendly atmosphere at Widener and that close-knit community feel that is so great to find in a university. It's a small school with all of the opportunities of a larger one. In 2009, I graduated from Widener again by earning my Master's degree in Educational Counseling.

Time and Experience with Widener
I attended Widener as an undergraduate student from 2006-2010. Since my freshman year, I was a tour guide and a member of the Presidential Service Corps. I was very involved on campus and I enjoyed every moment of it. In my senior year, I was honored to be the Student Trustee. Widener has given me so many opportunities to meet new people and learn new things.

I'm glad to be back to share my personal stories with other students and help them with their college decision. Come visit and learn about the numerous opportunities we offer at Widener.
