Widener Day Open House
What can we tell you about Widener Day? Just that we’re excited. And you’re invited.
Online Registration for our Fall Widener Days will be available in late summer.
Weekday Campus Visit
Weekday information sessions and guided tours by our student ambassadors are provided Monday through Friday starting a 10:30 a.m. or 1:30 p.m. Tours follow the information sessions at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Weekday visits take about two hours.
Weekend Group Session
If you’re in a weekend group visit, you’ll have the opportunity to attend a presentation about the Widener admission process, including a sudent-led tour of the campus. We start at 10:00 a.m. Did we mention that lunch is on us?
Fall 2013 weekend group session dates include Saturday, September 28th, Saturday, November 9th, and Sunday, December 8th. Weekend group session registration will be available in late summer.
Shadow a Student
Shadow and share a day and some classes with one our students in real-time.
Academic Workshops
Get a feel for real deal and attend an academic workshop. Explore that major you’re thinking about? Discuss it with the professors who teach in your major and meet current students already in your major.
Group Visit (junior high or high school students)
Groups of up to 40 high school students in grades 9-12 are welcome on our main campus during the week on Tuesday or Thursday at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. One chaperone for every 20 students, please.
Our information sessions provide the basics, and then some, followed by a student-led
campus tour.
Lunch is available at a cost of $7.25 per person in our dining hall and is an “all
you can eat” experience. Or bring your lunch and eat together on our main campus.
Please make reservations at least three weeks in advance.

Instant Decision Days
In the fall students will have the opportunity to speak with a Counselor and receive an instant admissions decision. Fall 2013 Instant Decision Day dates include Monday, October 14th and Monday, November 11th. Online registration will be available late summer.
Guests will receive an information session, campus tour, and lunch.
- High school seniors need to submit the free online application prior to the event and bring an official sealed transcript and official sealed standardized test scores.
- Transfer students need to submit the free online application prior to the event and bring an official (sealed) transcript from all post-secondary institutions attended. (Official credit evaluations for transfer students will not be completed on this day.)
