You don’t have to be an arts major to dance at Widener University.

Whether it’s through our dance program or clubs like the Widener Dance Company, we offer all community members an opportunity to explore the study of movement.

Through the College of Arts and Sciences, students can enroll in courses like Dance Repertoire and Modern Dance courses. Taught by adjunct professor Jessica Warchal, these classes incorporate aspects of various dance styles while providing students with structured rehearsal and performing experience.

Students can also participate in campus organizations that focus on dance and performance. The student-run Widener Dance Company stages two campus performances in addition to participating in other student-led shows throughout the academic year.

Dance scholarships in the amount of $1,500, which are awarded based on application and audition, are available to entering students. Download a scholarship application.
