Interest Groups
Whether it’s poetry, dancing, advocacy, anime, or hiking, Widener makes it easy for students to explore their interests.
There are more than 80 clubs and organizations on campus, from Debate Team to the Outdoor Adventure Club. Open to all undergraduate students, these groups host programs throughout the year to nurture their own interests as well as share them with others.
We’ve got so many types of interest clubs. Want to be a polyglot? Join the French or Italian clubs. Do you enjoy celebrating diversity? Consider joining Spectrum, Latinos Unidos, or the Black Student Union, Widener’s oldest student organization.
If you don’t find the club you’re looking for, then feel free to start one up! The Office of Student Life encourages students to get involved on campus and will help you get things off the ground.
