Commuters count at Widener.
Widener believes that every student, whether she lives on-campus or commutes, deserves a first-rate college experience. Undergraduate day students can join over 85 student clubs and organizations, play sports, hold leadership positions, participate in community service projects, work out in our Wellness Center, eat and relax in our dining halls and student lounges, and even work on-campus.
University Crossings has a full-service bank, 24-hour convenience store, and other retail stores for busy commuters. And to make sure you stay connected, Widener offers:
- Free Commuter Pitstops, held throughout the semester, are a great way to connect with fellow students, meet university staff, and share your ideas for making the Widener commuter experience the best it can be.
- Campus Cruiser is Widener's on-line hub. Log in to view announcements, share feedback, upload event photos, and chat with other Widener students.
Widener's Commuter Student Committee, hosted by the Office of Student Life, is open to all commuter students. Network with other students, learn about on-campus events and programs, and get information about transportation options.
