For Freshmen

We are very excited for your arrival this Fall! Below is information pertaining to the formal check-in and move-in process. We request you review this information to make your arrival a smooth transition.

The Fall Freshmen Orientation program is considered an academic requirement for new students as this program initiates your status as a Widener student. Because this program is so vital to your success, attendance is required and will be taken.

Check-in for ALL Freshman students is in the University Center (UCTR) at the desk inside the main doors off 14th Street.

Note: If you are a transfer student, please visit the Transfer Student Check-In page. Freshman commuter and off campus students should not attend Resident Check-In; please see New Student Commuter and Off Campus residing Check-In information below.

Resident Check-In

Freshman resident students must report to Check-In on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 to receive keys and/or Campus1Card activation for your assigned residence hall. Upon your arrival on campus, report to the University Center (UCTR) to begin the Check-In process.

Below is the tentative 2014 Check-In schedule for when you arrive to campus. Please check this webpage again prior to Move-In Day for final Check-In schedule.

Note: Check-in will relocate from the UCTR main level into the Residence Life Office from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Commuter Check-In

Check-In for new student COMMUTER and OFF CAMPUS students is 1:00 p.m. The purpose of this check-in is to pick-up the New Student Orientation schedule from the front desk of the University Center. New student commuters and off campus students are permitted to arrive earlier to collect the New Student Orientation schedule, conduct any necessary business with Enrollment Management Center, obtain a Campus1Card if necessary, purchase a parking permit, or visit the bookstore. Your first Fall Freshman Orientation activity will begin at 1:30 p.m.
