Metropolitan Hall

Description

Unveiled in 2006, Metropolitan Hall is one of Widener's newest residence halls. Located at the corner of 17th Street and Melrose Avenue, Met Hall -- or Metro Hall, depending on who you ask -- provides accommodations for approximately 300 upperclassmen who live together in actual apartment/suites that can house from four to 13 people.

Every floor features laundry facilities, vending areas and lounges that come equipped with flat-screen TVs. All units have their own furnished living rooms and kitchens, with full-sized refrigerators and oven ranges. Whether or not suites are co-ed is determined by the number of bathrooms. Smaller suites housing 6 people or less have one private bathroom, so they must remain single-sex. Suites with 7 people or more, which feature two private bathrooms, may be co-ed.
