Metropolitan Hall
Description
Unveiled in 2006, Metropolitan Hall is Widener's newest, best-equipped and most coveted residence hall. Located at the corner of 17th Street and Melrose Avenue, Met Hall -- or Metro Hall, depending on who you ask -- provides accommodations for approximately 300 upperclassmen who live together in actual apartments that can house from four to 13 people.
Every floor features laundry facilities, vending areas and lounges that come equipped with flat-screen TVs. All units have their own furnished living rooms and kitchens, with full-sized refrigerators and oven ranges. Whether or not suites are co-ed is determined by the number of bathrooms. Smaller suites housing 6 people or less have one private bathroom, so they must remain single-sex. Suites with 7 people or more, which feature two private bathrooms, may be co-ed.
