Widener offers 17 standard residence halls, three apartment/suite-style buildings, and three themed houses--guaranteeing housing for all undergraduate students!

Who Lives on Campus?

Unless they qualify for commuter status, all full-time freshman, sophomore, and junior undergraduates live on campus—which leads to better grades, higher graduation rates, and more time with friends!

Housing Options

First-Year Students

As a first-year student, you will live in one of our standard-style, first-year residence halls, which include:

First-year students also have the option of applying to live in one of our living learning communities (LLCs). LLCs are typically located in the first-year quad area, namely Howell, Thayer, Grasselli, and others located across from Old Main and next to the University Center.

Our LLCs in this area include nursing, honors, engineering, business, and civic engagement. Please follow the instructions provided on the housing application to apply for a living learning community.

Upper-Class Students
