Goals & Itinerary
The 1821 Experience gives participants an opportunity to:
- Move into residence halls early (residential students)
- Meet and interact with other incoming and returning students, faculty, staff, administrators and alumni
- Attend workshops, seminars, and discussion panels that address a variety of topics and offer strategies for a successful transition to college life
- Become familiar with the Chester campus and learn about the available resources for all students
- Participate in unique group explorations
Below is the previous year itinerary. This year's 1821 Experience itinerary will be posted during the summer.

| 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm | Workshop: College 101/WU 101 Student Panel Discussion |
| 4:00 pm - 5:00pm | Workshop: Diversity 101 Michelle Meekins-Davis, MSA Director |
| 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm | Dinner Break |
| 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm | WU Community Expectations Carlyle Lawrence, Judicial Affairs |
| 8:30 pm | Reflections |
| 9:00 pm | Retire to residence halls/ leave campus for home |
