International Education Week

Widener University will celebrate International Education Week November 15-20, 2015. This year’s theme is “Access for All.”

With just 2,400 undergraduate day students, 1,500 graduate students, and approximately 240 international students, Widener is the right size to let you connect with new friends and the faculty in your discipline. You get to meet people and share ideas from around the world that challenge your views and broaden your horizons.

Role of International Student Services (ISS)

  • ISS provides immigration services to international students including advising students on immigration regulations, issuing I-20s, and providing mandated data to the Department of Homeland Security.
  • ISS serves as an advocate for international students and assists international students with acclimation to American life and integration into the Widener community.
  • ISS provides the opportunity for domestic and international students to interact which facilitates the development of global mobility competence and global citizenship in all Widener students.
