Climbing Wall

Climbing to the Top

RA Michelle Callaghan '13 brought her residents to the Wellness Center so they could try their hands at scaling Widener's 24-foot rock wall.

We give you a bunch of alternatives, such as group fitness classes ranging from Zumba to spinning, a variety of competitive club sports and intramural programs.

Our Wellness Center features the finest equipment from trusted names like Life Fitness, StarTrac, PreCor, and Cybex. We have something for everyone --  AMTs, ARC Trainers, treadmills, expresso bikes, rowers, spin bikes, ellipticals and helix machines. Add some lifting to your cardio with a trip to our upstairs strength training floor, which features stations for upper and lower body as well as free weights and two functional training areas. We also have a 24-foot rock wall if you want to climb to new heights.

Catch up on all our campus recreational events and activities on our Wellness Center Facebook page or the Wellness Center Office on Campus Cruiser.

Widener University students, administrators, faculty, staff, spouses/domestic partners of full-time staff, and retirees are eligible to use the Wellness Center.  Students, faculty, and staff are permitted to use the Wellness Center free of charge while spouses/domestic partners (of full-time administration, faculty and support staff) are required to pay an annual membership fee.

You must present a valid Widener University ID at time of entry and all members must sign-in at the front desk. Individuals that do not present a valid Widener ID will be asked to leave.

Alumni do not have access to the facility and the Wellness Center does NOT have a guest policy or issue guest passes.
