Zumba at the Wellness Center
Rita Sharma '12 works her fellow Widener students into a sweat during her Zumba class at the Wellness Center.
Climbing to the Top
RA Michelle Callaghan '13 brought her residents to the Wellness Center so they could try their hands at scaling Widener's 24-foot rock wall.
Our Twitter timeline is loaded with students talking about their #gymflow, and the Wellness Center is where it all happens.
Our modern facility, which opened in 2006, features the finest equipment from trusted names like Life Fitness, StarTrac, PreCor, and Cybex. We’ve got AMTs, ARC Trainers, treadmills, bikes, and rowers. Add some lifting to your cardio with a trip to our upstairs strength training floor, which features stations for upper and lower body as well as free weights and two functional training areas.
Widener University staff, students, administration, faculty, retirees and spouses/domestic partners of full-time administration, faculty and support staff are eligible to use the Wellness Center.
Alumni do not have access to the facility and the Wellness Center does NOT have a guest policy or issue guest passes.
You must present a valid Widener University ID at time of entry and all members must sign-in at the front desk. Individuals that do not present a valid Widener ID will be asked to leave.
All Widener University students, faculty, and staff are permitted to use the Wellness Center free of charge. Spouses/domestic partners of full-time administration, faculty and support staff are required to pay an annual membership fee.
