Group Fitness Classes
Grab a friend and join some group fitness fun!
Group fitness programs, offered at the Pride Recreation Center, are designed to provide fitness classes – free of charge – to the Widener community. These fun and challenging workouts are open to all eligible members regardless of fitness level and are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. All classes are taught by certified student instructors.
Challenge yourself with a fun and fast-paced cardiovascular exercise with an intense kickboxing class.
Explore cycling techniques from beginner to advanced, as our instructors lead and motivate you through an exciting ride.
Develop self-defense skills while getting a total body workout with this Korean martial arts class.
Build strength, add definition, increase bone density, and decrease body fat by increasing lean muscle in a class where no muscle gets neglected.
Discover a variety of poses and breathing techniques to bring awareness to your body while also developing strength, balance, and flexibility.
Attending a Group Fitness Class
All classes are first come, first serve. Interested participants can sign up for a class 15 minutes prior to the class start time. All sign-ups must be made in person and individually at the Pride Recreation Center front desk with a valid Widener ID. Phone reservations are not accepted.
