Internships

Career related experience is one of the four most important factors employers look for when interviewing & hiring college graduates. Career Services will work closely with you to help you identify, and apply for, suitable internship opportunities. Here is what to do:

  • Schedule an appointment with a Career Counselor by calling x4176.
  • Access Pride CAREERS for online access to internship listings.  
  • Attend career fairs to meet employers offering internships. 
Cooperative Education
As an alternative or addition to internships, some majors can choose to take part in cooperative education. The Co-op program provides students with a well-balanced combination of classroom study and work experience. The program is available to students in the School of Business Administration, School of Engineering, Science Majors in the College of Arts & Sciences, English and History majors.
