 Betsy Mathew received a Sigma Xi Grant in Aid of Research for her Senior Thesis in Biochemistry. Working with Dr. Frances Weaver, Betsy investigated the effects of atrazine exposure on cytochrome P450 activity in Northern Leopard frogs. |
 Mohit Sirohi, also a recipient of a Sigma Xi Grant in Aid of Research also received a Beta Beta Beta Biological Honor Society Research Grant for his Senior Thesis in Biochemistry. Working with Dr. Loyd Bastin, Mohit isolated and purified the calcium binding protein parvalbumin from trout and measured its affinity for calcium. |
