Why did you choose Widener?

Good engineering/science curriculum, good reviews from known alumni.

What is your dream job?

Patent Counsel

How is Widener helping you to achieve your goals?

Widener has given me the technological background to practice this area of law.

What has been your favorite experience at Widener?

My involvement in teacher directed research afforded an excellent opportunity to gain insight into a real world problem plaguing the environment.  (Alternative Refrigerant Studies)

What advice would you give to a prospective Widener student?

Science majors definitely have their work cut out for them, but it’s a rewarding program.  The diversity of a science degree and the skills it provides are great assets, especially in the current demanding job market.

What do you like to do outside of the classroom?

I’m a big fan of running/biking/mountain climbing/snowboarding/reading (novels, when I’m not buried under legal books).

What was your favorite classroom project?

My senior project was a very interesting combination of engineering and scientific analysis – Photocatalytic Oxidation of an Anesthetic Gas.
