Welcome to the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Widener.

We offer a major in physics, as well as other options such as: minors in physics and in astronomy; dual degrees with engineering; and teacher certification in physics.

Our course offerings include many interesting courses open to all students. The courses are taught by our diverse faculty who carry out research in many different areas using local and national facilities.
