Dr. Fehr is interested in "perspective taking " in children, child and elder abuse, and research related to stress management. He teaches courses in developmental psychology, personality, and senior research. Dr. Fehr also serves as the Practicum/Internship Coordinator for the Social Science Division.

Dr. Fendrich's research interests include memory for procedures, recognition memory, and implicit memory.  His teaching interests include history and systems of psychology, cognition, computer applications in psychology, paranormal psychology, and senior projects.  Dr. Fendrich is the faculty advisor to both the Psychology Club and Psi Chi.

Dr. Galla is interested in the psychophysiology of stress, the psychophysiological/psychological etiologies of eating disorders, "perspective taking" in children, and child and elder abuse (see recent publications).   He teaches introductory psychology, biological psychology, senior research, and statistics.

Dr. Rose has research interests in developmental and cognitive psychology. Recent work has focused on the influence of peers on vocational development and the role of the media in shaping public opinion (see recent publications). She teaches introduction to psychology, statistics, and human growth and development I and II.  Dr. Rose is also the Chairman of the Psychology Department.

Dr. Simons is interested in examining the relationships among childhood abuse, psychosocial factors, and substance use.  She also investigates gender-specific and cultural-sensitive characteristics in drinking, smoking, eating, and drug use among at-risk and non-risk populations to promote the development of effective prevention and treatment programs  for substance users and abusers.  Dr. Simons is also a faculty advisor to Pi Gamma Mu, the Social Science Honor Society.

Dr. Steinman has research interests in industrial/organizational psychology and consumer behavior.  His recent research has focused on the use of indirect and implicit measures of attitude in the consumer domain as well as the effect of brand transgression on consumer attitude and preference.  His teaching interests include industrial/organizational psychology, consumer behavior, social psychology, and statistics.

Clifford T. Stewart, Professor Emeritus, Ph.D., University of Denver
Dr. Stewart retired from Widener in 1997. He conducted research in the areas of biofeedback, behavioral medicine, and stress management. He taught abnormal, behavioral medicine, introductory psychology, and senior research.
