MPA Specializations                   

Students may tailor their course work to meet unique professional needs and career goals by packaging electives to suit a range of program specializations. Students attain a specialization by completing designated courses from the Public Administration program and other graduate programs throughout the university. Area specializations and requirements are listed below. Enrollment in courses outside the Public Administration program is contingent upon availability and, where necessary, approval of the MPA Advisory Committee. A specialization is optional and is not required for completion of the MPA.
