Civic Engagement Highlight
Think: Is our community better because you're in it?
As early as freshmen year, you'll apply what you're learning in the classroom to hands-on service projects that address real-world issues. Choose from co-curricular experiences, including Alternative Spring Break, Community Fellows and Engineers without Borders.
Widener partners with service organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and the national service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega on community development projects around the world.
Through civic engagement, develop 21st century skills in critical thinking, collaboration and socially-responsible leadership.
