Through community service, Widener students exhibit the generosity of spirit, the love of one's fellow citizens and the commitment to moral excellence that Dr. King demanded of those who followed him. Whether it's through spending spring break becoming neighbors to communities in need, through strengthening the bonds of fraternity and sorority via volunteer work, or through helping local school children down the path to a brighter future, those engaged in community service at Widener demonstrate a deep knowledge of what things come first.
