Oscar Lanza-Galindo has been appointed director of library and instructional services at Widener University. He comes to Widener from the Donald B. Watt Library and Info Commons at the School for International Training (SIT) in Brattleboro, Vt.

Samantha Nardi of Wallingford, Conn. is looking forward to her move to Delaware County as she begins her career as a student in the Institute for Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University. Nardi, who has wanted to be a psychologist since she was a teenage, is the recipient of the Neubauer Family Scholarship for 2016.

Fitch Ratings, a global credit rating agency, has affirmed a favorable 'A-' bond rating for Widener University and issued a "stable" outlook for the university moving forward, according to a report released July 27.
