interdisciplinary studies

Besides the General Education Requirements that seek to broaden the base of knowledge of all College of Arts & Sciences graduates, Widener offers several options to students interested in following a curriculum that spans more than one discipline. 

Students can choose to double major in a variety of areas, major or minor in Women's Studies, or create their own interdisciplinary curriculum through the Open Major program.  At the graduate level, the College of Arts & Sciences offers an interdisciplinary Master of Arts degree in Liberal Studies.
