Transferring From Another U.S. Institution

International Student Services will include a SEVIS Transfer-In Form (available for download here) for all individuals coming to Widener University from another U.S. institution. You will be required to have the international student advisor at your current school complete this form and forward it to the Office of International Student Services prior to your arrival.

Immigration requires that transfers are processed in a timely manner and this process cannot be completed without this form. Failure to process your transfer on time, within 15 days of your registration at Widener University, could place you out of status with USCIS and result in loss of benefits like employment on campus, including assistantships.

You may also transfer to Widener University by entering the U.S. on the immigration documents issued to you by Widener University.
