Student Computing

Student Computing maintains two general computing labs and provides weekly maintenance for the computer classrooms. The labs are located in the Wolfgram Library, Lower Level and in University Center, Lower Level. There are twenty five units in each lab. The labs follow the scheduled building hours and change to extended hours for the last three weeks of the semester to accommodate the end of semester ‘crunch’.

 

Student technical support is provided by ITS Restechs. The ResTechs are select student employees who live in the residence halls across campus. They are on-call for desktop and networking support for all the resident students on campus.  These students are trained with a sophisticated level of technical proficiency in all operating systems, hardware, software and networking skills who report to the Student Computing Manager. 

Please feel free to contact a ResTech if you are experiencing issues connecting to the internet in the dorms by calling the Walk-in Restech Office at ext. 1202(located in the Library Lab - lower level)
