WHEN: Wednesday, April 13
TIME: 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: University Center, Webb Room
WHO: Any full-time undergraduate student with at least a 2.0 grade point average who will be a second-semester freshman, sophomore, junior, or first-semester senior in fall 2011 (see more below).
HOW: Develop a two-minute routine to perform, in costume, for our panel or judges. Students may interact with the judges, but they may not speak.
Students may incorporate music into their performance. Students will be judged on a scale of 1 to 20 on creativity, entertainment value, and overall spirit.
Winners
Two winners will be selected based on overall score. The winners will receive a $1,000 per semester scholarship and will attend professional mascot boot camp with the original Phillie Phanatic in the fall.
Eligibility
In addition to the requirements stated above, students must be willing to commit to at least 15 appearances as the mascot per semester.
