These commencement pages are your primary resource for all information relating to graduation at Widener University's Main Campus. To participate in the commencement ceremony, candidates for graduation must follow all instructions posted at this website. The site is updated regularly, so check back often.
Inclement Weather: The commencement ceremonies are held outdoors, rain or shine. Please dress appropriately for weather conditions. If it is raining, we will distribute ponchos with the programs. Umbrellas are NOT permitted because they block the view of others, the spokes can be dangerous, and they divert rain onto others seated adjacent or behind.
Commencement Programs: Here are downloadable PDFs of the programs for the Commencement Ceremony for Baccalaureate and Associate's Degree Students and the Commencement Ceremony for Doctorate and Master's Degree Students so you can follow along in the comfort of your home and not miss a thing. You can quickly find your graduate's name in the program by using the "Find/Replace" function: Click at the top of page 7 in the first column, then press Ctrl-F (Mac users press Command-F) to open the Find/Replace feature. Next, enter the graduate's last name in the search field and click the next arrow until the graduate's name is highlighted.
