Celebrate Graduation on Facebook, Twitter, and Other Social Media
Commencement is an exciting time for many members of the Widener community. Of course, for our graduates, it’s a monumental accomplishment and the start of a new chapter. It’s also a special time for parents, relatives, friends, and Widener faculty and staff as they have supported the graduates over the years and now wish them the best for their future endeavors. Alumni, too, look back fondly on this time, remembering their own commencement and sharing a sense of pride with the new graduating class.
To capture the excitement and pride felt by so many during this time, we invite you to join us on Facebook and Twitter to commemorate the Class of 2014, wish them well, and join in their celebration. Using the hashtag #widener2014, we welcome you to share your thoughts, memories, well wishes, and graduation-related photos and videos. Connect with us on Facebook and Twitter for up-to-date information on commencement happenings.
Class of 2014's Most Memorable Moments
Graduating students: Be on the lookout for your chance to participate in a Widener Moment video shoot. We want you to share your most memorable moments as a Widener student. You'll have this opportunity on Monday, April 21, and Wednesday, April 23, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. outside of Founders Hall next to the Pride statues. In the event of bad weather, the video shoot will be in the University Center Atrium. If you can't make one of those times, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange an alternate time. Beginning May 1, these videos will be shared daily on Widener's YouTube channel and via social media. Don't miss this chance to share your Widener Moment!
