Celebrate Graduation on Facebook, Twitter, and Other Social Media
Commencement is an exciting time for many members of the Widener community. Of course, for our graduates, it’s a monumental accomplishment and the start of a new chapter. It’s also a special time for parents, relatives, friends, and Widener faculty and staff as they have supported the graduates over the years and now wish them the best for their future endeavors. Alumni, too, look back fondly on this time, remembering their own commencement and sharing a sense of pride with the new graduating class.
To capture the excitement and pride felt by so many during this time, we invite you to join us on Facebook and Twitter to commemorate the Class of 2015, wish them well, and join in their celebration. Using the hashtag #widener2015, we welcome you to share your thoughts, memories, well wishes, and graduation-related photos and videos. Connect with us on Facebook and Twitter for up-to-date information on commencement happenings.
Class of 2015's Most Memorable Moments
Attention all members of the Class of 2015 – even you, graduate students – we are looking for photos that capture your most memorable moments of your time at Widener. Was it a study abroad experience or Alternative Spring Break trip? Was it just hanging out with classmates at your favorite spot on campus? How about the way you spent that first nice day of spring on Memorial Field?
Send us your top 1-5 photos that capture your favorite “Widener Moments” and caption them to describe what’s going on in the image. We’ll share the photo submitted on the Widener University Facebook page.
Please send photos by Tuesday, May 5 to email@example.com. (Widener reserves the right to use any photos submitted on social media and in print.)
