Suheil Sabbagh, president of the Human Resources Group for Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) in Athens Greece, was appointed to the advisory board for the School of Engineering at Widener University.

As managing partner for CCC, the largest construction company in the Middle East, Sabbagh brings a valuable international perspective to the board.

The School of Engineering Advisory Board consists of industry leaders from diverse areas of businesses. The purpose of the board is to inform the dean of current industry needs and trends so that the school can remain current and relevant with its curricular offerings and to provide the necessary assistance and direction to support the school in its future growth and development.

“We are honored to have Mr. Suheil Sabbagh join our advisory board,” Dr. Fred Akl, dean of the School of Engineering, said. “Having someone support our board from an international level is a great benefit to our program and students.”

Sabbagh is recognized for the significant humanitarian and social welfare contributions he makes consistently to both local and worldwide organizations. He currently holds the position of chairman of the Board of Trustees at the American Community School in Athens, is a Member of the UNESCO World Federation of Engineers and a member of the Jordan Young Presidents Organization.

“It’s a pleasure to have the opportunity to enhance the educational system at Widener University,” Sabbagh said.
