Chester, Pa. – The Widener University Innovation Series, in partnership with the consulting company BPM-D, is offering the inaugural Digital Processes and Products Conference on Oct. 23.

The conference is an opportunity for executives and practitioners to explore the impact of digital technologies, learn emerging new approaches, methods, and tools, create significant competitive advantages, and assist their organizations with digital transformation initiatives.

"Through this Widener Innovation Series event, professionals and practitioners will learn about current practices, applications, and research surrounding digitalization and digital transformation," said School of Business Administration Dean Jayati Ghosh.

Digitalization has become a main driver for new business models, strategies, execution approaches and related innovations. Almost every organization is discussing topics, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Blockchain, the Cloud, Internet of Things (IoT), Industry 4.0, Digital BPM and related approaches, including Customer Journey Planning and Design Thinking, as possible solutions for their business challenges.

Leading practitioners will discuss the benefits of digitalization and explore the development of new digital technologies. Participants will choose from over 20 sessions on digital products or digital processes.

The Digital Processes and Products Conference also provides opportunities for networking with peer executives, digitalization experts and other organizations.
