Workshop participants spent the day at the MJ Freed Theater learning about film and theater from a number of experts in the field, including: Devon Walls, Derrick Hammond, Tim Scepansky, Ulysses Slaughter, David Bradley, Hank Willenbrink, and Mike Durkin.

During the day students participated in group building exercises, created tableaux from photographs, practiced writing a script and learned how to utilize an iPhone as a storyboard tool.
