      WPCS Grads

      WPCS Graduation

The Widener Partnership Charter School celebrated the promotion of 40 eighth grade students at a ceremony held Thursday, June 8 in Alumni Auditorium. The students heard from several speakers including Widener Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Stephen C. Wilhite, who told them changing the world is hard work. He advised the students to pursue high school with the same diligence they showed at the WPCS, and in four years they will be poised for undergraduate studies. "Congratulations to the 2017 eighth grade class. You are indeed Chester's finest," he said.

Widener University is proud to announce the launch of PageUp™, an online performance management system. There will be two more demonstrations, June 15 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and June 19 at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. in Founders Hall, Room 109. To learn more about the system you can review the user guides for employees and managers available on CampusCruiser under the Human Resource Office in the performance management tab.

      Pride Lion

      Pride Personified

The Pride Personified feature that comes to employees each month through email will take a break for the summer and return in August. That does not mean the nominations have to take a break, too. Pride Personified is a celebration of the people who make our Widener community outstanding. Feel free to share your thoughts if you have a colleague who exceeds the highest expectations and whose standard of excellence makes Widener a better place. Nominations will continue to be accepted over the summer at presoffc@widener.edu.
