      Cabinet In Your Community is an outreach initiative of the Pennsylvania governor’s office to provide a platform for engagement between cabinet secretaries and local communities. This the first event held in the southeast region of the state specifically focusing on the counties of Delaware and Chester, although everyone is welcome. Cabinet members in attendance will include Physician General and Acting Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine, Secretary of Aging Teresa Osborne, Secretary of Transportation Leslie Richards, Secretary of Education Pedro Rivera and Secretary of General Services Curt Topper.

      Widener University’s School of Business Administration is inviting the public to a free financial literacy workshop presented by Professor Joseph Hargadon, the department head for accounting and information management at Widener. During the workshop, he will teach participants about how to make smart financial decisions. The workshop is free and dinner will be provided, but the number of participants is limited. The event is sponsored by the School of Business Administration, Chester Rotary Club, Widener University Rotaract Club, UPS and Franklin Mint Credit Union.
