Widener Pride Logo Guidelines
The Widener Pride logo is the symbol for Widener Athletics. The logo consists of the Pride image and the words, “Widener” and/or “Pride.” It is a part of Widener's identity and branding in the marketplace. The logo must be used following the guidelines listed below.

The Widener Pride logo can be used only for events or services that are officially sponsored by Widener
University.
- The Pride logo must always face to the right and must appear parallel to the top of the page or screen. The logo must not be flipped and/or rotated.
- The Pride image may be used alone without the words “Widener Pride”; if “Widener Pride” and the Pride image are used together, they must be used as one logo, as shown in the examples. “Widener Pride” may not be set in any font. “Widener Pride” may not be cut and moved to any other position.
- The Pride logo must not be combined or integrated with any other logos or graphic elements without written consent from University Relations.
- When using the Pride logo, choose the highest resolution appropriate for your use; minimum size 1/2 inch wide (without the words) for print, 100 pixels wide for web.
- The Pride logo must not be altered or distorted in any horizontal and/or vertical dimension.
- The Pride logo must not be animated.
- The Pride logo must not be used as a background for text.
- The integrity of the Pride logo must remain intact and distinctive when printed over photographs or other images.
The Pride logo must remain separate on all sides from text and other graphic elements by a space equal to its height.
Using Text with the PRIDE Logo
- The Pride image may be used without the words “Widener” and/or “Pride.”

Fonts
- Use Univers (or Arial) and/or Times Roman with the logo. These fonts must be used for all copy and/or text.
- For a major header, such as (Widener Pride logo) Football, ask University Relations to set in the header in the official font Requiem. Since Requiem is not available university-wide, University Relations will typeset and convert the header to a JPEG for you.
