Ashley Mader, LSW, MEd is a therapist specializing in geriatrics, couples counseling, trauma, and lifespan sexuality counseling. Her research on body image and aging among older adults in Philadelphia informed a lesson she co-authored for the “Older, Wiser, Sexually Smarter” curriculum.
Working under a Hartford grant, she addressed on geriatric education in social work. She has presented on body image and aging, the importance of sexual expression in residential settings, Internet dating and aging, the importance of touch, and single adult topics.
She is a doctoral candidate in Widener University’s Graduate Program in Human Sexuality.
