SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING

Excellence in engineering education characterizes the Widener School of Engineering.  We pride ourselves on offering current up to date programs such as the Land Development and Mobile Computing certificates, to students that want to sample our programs and further their education.

These certificate programs were developed in conjunction with industry experts and our top notch professors to bring the real world experience to the classroom. They are a part of wide selection of graduate programs.

Innovative Undergraduate Programs
We also offer innovative undergraduate programs in chemical, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering. We believe strongly in personalized instruction and mentorship, and are proud to maintain a student faculty ratio of 12 to 1.

You will enjoy small classes and close interaction with the faculty.  Our faculty continues to forge and cultivate research partnerships with local, regional and national companies, and government agencies.

One of the most innovative features of our undergraduate programs involve Senior Project which is a year long project where seniors are required to work in disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams on real life problems.

Students have the option of participating in our Co-op Program that allows students to earn their nationally accredited baccalaureate degree and complete a one year long co-op experience all in four years.
