Excellence in engineering education characterizes the Widener School of Engineering. We pride ourselves on offering current up to date programs, including the masters level Land Development Certificate, to students who want to further their education and stay at the cutting edge of technology.

We create our programs to meet the needs of the students. Whether full time or part time, "traditional" or "non-traditional", Widener School of Engineering is dedicated to being focused on the student to help you achieve your goals. Your success is important to us.

Innovative Undergraduate Programs
We offer innovative undergraduate programs in chemical, civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering. We believe strongly in personalized instruction and mentorship, and are proud to maintain a student to faculty ratio of 14 to 1.

You will enjoy small classes and close interaction with the faculty. Our faculty continues to forge and cultivate research partnerships with local, regional and national companies and government agencies.

One of the most innovative features of our undergraduate programs is the Senior Project which is a year long intensive effort in which seniors are required to work on real life problems in disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams.

Students have the option of participating in our Co-op Program that allows students to earn their nationally accredited baccalaureate degree and complete a one year long co-op experience all in four years.
