ATHLETIC FACILITIES

Schwartz Athletic Center

Home to our men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, men's and women's swimming, and men's and women's indoor track teams, the Schwartz Athletic Center also houses Widener's athletic administration and coaching staff in a third-floor suite.

Schwartz Center offers members of the Widener community access to a gymnasium, weight room, multi-purpose field house with a new resurfaced floor and a championship size eight-lane swimming pool.

Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium

Leslie C. Quick Jr. Stadium is home to our football, men's and women's soccer, men's lacrosse, and men's and women's outdoor track & field teams.  Quick Stadium, which opened in 1994 and seats over 4,000 spectators, also sports a turf field and lights. Encircling the turf is the George A. Hansell Track, an eight-lane, synthetic-surfaced track which has served as home for multiple conference championship meets.

Edith R. Dixon Field

Opened in 2005, Edith R. Dixon Field is home to our field hockey and women's lacrosse squads. Equipped with artificial turf, lights, and a new scoreboard, the field is easily accessible for fans and students; the field also serves as home for our intramural teams.

The center is open from 12:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on weekends.

The facility is closed Saturdays of home football games and the Borislow Weight Room and swimming pool are subject to proper staffing.
