FRIDAY EVENING SESSIONS - HELD MONTHLY

Friday evening sessions are held, weather permitting, once a month, on the first Friday of the month (see schedule below).  Each session lasts about one hour, although visitors need not stay for the entire period. 

Please note that Friday evening sessions run 8 p.m. to 9 p.m, except those in May and June, which are later because of the late sunset at that time of year.

Reservations are not required, but are requested so that we know how many people to expect and also so that we can inform you if the Widener Observatory is closed due to inclement weather.

We request that prospective visitors fill out a brief information form available on the internet and sign up for one or more sessions of their choice.  *Note:  You may encounter a warning notice about the website security certificate when attempting to register.  We are in the process of transferring the registration forms to a new server, so please just ignore the warning and continue to access the form.
