GREEK LIFE

Welcome to Greek Life at Widener University! Greek Life includes all of the activities in which fraternities and sororities are involved. At Widener we have over 300 members in our fraternity and sorority organizations who involve themselves in everything from community service to athletics, academic programs to student outings. There are six fraternities and three sororities on campus. Most will agree that the experience they have had in their organization has been like no other, providing them the opportunity to build lifelong friends, help their community, and develop goals for the future.

An Overview

Widener University Greek Life has a proud history of community and University service, school spirit, and academic achievement. Our fraternities and sororities pride themselves on providing their members with opportunities to meet new people and share common beliefs such as honor, service to others, and dedication to their Greek letter organization.

Many Greek students believe that joining a fraternity or sorority provides them with a support system with which they learn more about University programs and services, the opportunity to network with Greek alumni, and valuable leadership experience through service as a member of their organization's executive board or as a chairperson of a committee.

We are proud to offer students six national fraternities and three national sororities to choose from, and we sincerely hope that all students will take time to learn about Greek Life at Widener and take full advantage of the benefits Greek Life provides.
