
SWCS is a collaborative project between the Chester Education Foundation and Widener University Center for Social Work Education. SWCS seeks to enhance the social and economic vitality of the Chester community by working in partnership with community organizations to expand the capacity of the human service sector to meet critical service needs. http://www.swcs-cef.org/
In addition, SWCS provides a training site for graduate social work students interested in working with disadvantaged communities and populations. SWCS currently has collaborative service relationships with nine community partner agencies.
ASWB develops and maintains the social work licensing examination used across the country, and is a central resource for information on the legal regulation of social work. Through the association, social work boards can share information and work together.
ASWB also works with professional social work organizations like NASW, the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), the Clinical Social Work Federation, the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work, and the Federation of Associations of Regulatory Boards (FARB).
Council on Social Work Education is a national association that preserves and enhances the quality of social work education for practice that promotes the goals of individual and community well-being and social justice. CSWE pursues this mission through setting and maintaining policy and program standards, accrediting bachelor's and master's degree programs in social work, promoting research and faculty development, and advocating for social work education. The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world, with more than 155,000 members. NASW works to enhance the professional growth and development of its members, to create and maintain professional standards, and to advance sound social policies.

organization of clinical social workers serving the mental health, counseling, psychotherapy, and clinical case management needs of Pennsylvania area residents.
