Assessment

Widener University engages in comprehensive and strategic efforts to regularly review its institutional goals and learning objectives. Ongoing assessment provides a means for faculty, administrators and students to gather information to determine the university's progress toward achieving the goals.

Institutional assessment compares the contributions of key responsibilities and daily operations across the institution to the work outlined in the strategic plan. [Vision 2015]

Assessment for student learning provides ways for tracking learning progress and academic achievements. The Widener community uses various planning tools, processes and feedback loops to assess academic progress and institutional effectiveness.
