Bob Schwartz is Vice President of Marketing for Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, an industry leader in Venue Management, Food Services and Hospitality and Partnerships. Bob oversees the development and management of over 120 marketers. He has over 30 years of experience and has lead the marketing effort at several venues from the Los Angeles Coliseum and Sports Arena to the London Arena, UK and has managed, coached and developed marketers from Philadelphia, PA to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. He has been involved in marketing a variety of entertainment and sports events from family shows, concerts and special events to collegiate, minor and major league sports. He has developed many innovative initiatives that transform events into experiences.
Bob is involved in a companywide leadership development process whereby work and learning are partnered to effectively grow the individual and the organization. He strives to create future leaders not just great sellers and marketers. He was awarded the Comcast Spectacor Excellence Leadership Award 2017, was an Ed Snider Award nominee in 2018 and was the honoree recipient of the Beta Gamma Sigma award 2015. He completed his Masters of Science degree, in Organization Dynamics in 2010 from the University of Pennsylvania. Bob has a passion for teaching and has guest lectured at several colleges and universities. He has been an adjunct professor at Widener University for 18 years and will be an Executive in Residence at Widener University beginning the fall of 2018.
