About Me
I graduated with a PhD in Nursing (Research Oriented) from University of Kansas in May 2016. My philosophy of teaching is strongly associated with the philosophy of nursing practice and patient care. Nursing is a profession, where students learn through professional education and personal experience. My philosophy is closely related to education through life experience. I believe that my experience in my daily life influences my professional and personal life and education.
Education and technology change rapidly and therefore as a nurse teacher, I need to update my education continually. I also need to learn from my students through their evaluation and suggestions. I believe that strong communication is essential for a trusting relationship with my students. Teaching my students with a positive spirit, good knowledge, and enthusiasm will promote students' confidence and learning ability.
Research Interests
My research interest includes Nursing education methods, Nursing students' stress, Symptom management of Cancer patients during treatment, Pain management and palliative care.
