My background is in industrial engineering and management. Prior to accepting a faculty position in the School of Business Administration, I was the assistant dean and director of the graduate business programs.
Before that, I worked for Boeing as an analyst, supervisor, and project manager. I believe that by understanding how different processes work, we can find and correct problems. My teaching interests are in the fields of operations and how technology and change impact organizations.
I am working on the development of interactive and multimedia tools to enhance the operations management course. In addition, I am currently working with Graduate Enrollment Management to apply business process modeling and Six Sigma techniques to determine and prevent poor graduate student retention.
