I joined Widener as administrative secretary to the Career Design and Development team in July of 2019. In this role, I serve as the welcoming and well-informed first point of contact for the office, administer the Handshake job portal, provide technical and logistical support for meetings and events, and assist with special projects such as industry career fairs.
I bring diverse experience from both the private and not-for-profit sectors, as well as serving two years with AmeriCorps. Most recently, I served as an enrollment and tuition manager with Independence Mission Schools, specializing in recruiting students and building long lasting relationships within the community. I was previously a community partnership coordinator and college and career coordinator for AmeriCorps VISTA and City Year programs. There I was afforded the opportunity to learn the inner workings of collaboration with public schools and the local community and the importance of civic engagement. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, cooking new recipes, and spending time with family.
