Program Overview

You'll complete your degree while taking classes that interest you. You can apply credits in your area of expertise through professional licensure or prior college coursework. This degree will put you on the inside track to achieving your professional goals.

  • A minor must be selected with the bachelor degree
  • Minimum of 30 credits at Widener including 15 credits within the minor
  • A GPA of 2.0 in the major
  • An overall GPA of 2.0 or better
  • The required writing enriched courses
  • A score of 5 on the writing sample within 18 months of graduation
  • Completion of MATH 111 or higher
  • Successfully complete all courses and requirements

Eligible students can earn a bachelor of science in professional studies and a master of arts in organizational development and leadership degree through the accelerated organizational development and leadership program. This is a great option to take advantage of if you are considering a master's degree. Students can take up to 12 credits of master’s level work while completing their undergraduate degree.

You can apply for admission to the program any time after you have reached 90 credits within the bachelor's program or upon associate dean approval. A 3.0 cumulative GPA is required for admission.

You may transfer up to 90 credits from accredited institutions. You must complete 30 credits to meet the residency requirement, and 50% or more of the major courses must be completed at Widener.
