Admissions Information

Your application to the master's in taxation & financial planning program consists of the following components:

For admission consideration, we require you to have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.7 and a minimum GMAT score of 450 (if you took the GRE, we will convert your score into an equivalent GMAT score).

If you earned an undergraduate GPA less than 2.7 or a GMAT score lower than 450, we will evaluate your whole applicant profile to determine admission.

*We waive the GMAT or GRE requirement if:

  • You have 5 years of relevant work experience after graduating from a bachelor’s program (proof of experience must be submitted).
  • You graduated from an accredited U.S. institution with a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.
  • You hold a master’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution.
  • You completed a related certificate and earned a 3.3 cumulative GPA or higher.

We use a rolling admission format, meaning you can apply when it's convenient for you. We do recommend that you apply multiple weeks prior to the semester you'd like to begin the program; this will give us enough time to process your application.

You can start during any semester: fall (late August), spring (mid-January), or summer (mid-May).
