Join Associate Professor of English Michael Cocchiarale and Widener graduate Victoria Giansante as they read work on the theme of Escape Velocity: The Powerful Pull of Home. The event is open to all students, staff and faculty.

About the Readers:

Michael Cocchiarale

Michael Cocchiarale is Associate Professor of English and Creative Writing at Widener University. He is the author of three books of fiction: None of the Above (a novel), Here is Ware (stories), and Still Time (stories). His work may also be found in print and online journals such as Fictive Dreams, Stickman Review, Main Street Rag, Crack the Spine, Pithead Chapel, and Atticus Review.

Victoria Giansante Widener University English Alum

Victoria Giansante is a Widener University graduate currently working towards an MFA in Creative Writing and an MA in Publishing from Rosemont College. She is the flash fiction editor for the Rathalla Review (Rosemont's graduate literary journal), a casual freelance writer/editor, and is currently working on finishing up her first full-length novel. All of her limited free time is spent snuggling with her dog and cat and catching up on Queer Eye.
