Osher Lifelong Learning Institute's May-Mester
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Widener University is pleased to present May-Mester, a week-long virtual open house designed to introduce adults ages 50+ to our learning community.
Whether you are brand new to OLLI or a seasoned member, you will enjoy engaging presentations and get a sneak peek at our summer semester of noncredit courses. No tests. No grades. Just learning for the love of learning.
OLLI will host events on Zoom each day from May 3 to May 7, 2021. Join us for one or all programs. It is free to attend, but registration is required. The deadline to register is April 30.
The Linvilla Bluebird Trail

Wildlife photographer and birding enthusiast Pamela Dimeler will present on the Eastern Bluebird. Since 2015, Pamela and her husband, Scott, have maintained and monitored 30 bluebird nesting boxes located at Linvilla Orchards in PA. The bluebirds had a good year in 2020, as 52 fledglings successfully left the nest, along with several tree swallows and house wrens. Many aspects of the Eastern Bluebird will be discussed, including bluebird conservation, how to maintain a bluebird box, and how to attract bluebirds to your property.
