Social Work CEU: LGBTQ+ Intimate Partner Violence

Join the Social Work department for an informational session on LGBTQ+ Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). In this session, Speaker May Booth with discuss how to better support LGBTQ+ survivors of IPV, how interpersonal violence impacts these communities, and how IPV is impacted by homophobia and transphobia. 

May Booth is an experienced educator and advocate specializing in LGBTQIA+ competency, traumainformed care, and violence prevention. May holds a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Women’s Studies from Colorado State University and their educational background focused on the impact of social movements on politics.
